• சிலம்பம் | Staff, preferably made from rattan or bamboo, but sometimes also from teak or Indian rose chestnut wood. It is often tipped with metal rings to prevent the tips from being damaged. |

It's derived from deer horn remains of Indian Blackbuck. Collected parts of these deer horns remains were then built as weapons, with two horns tied together for each hand, and wielded as a pair by using both hands. Useful for using as a defensive (parry) and offensive (piercing weapon). |
